9. If I get a job, does my status of visa change?
A: Yes it changes. In order to work in Japan you need to change your visa status from “student visa” to “working visa”. There are two sorts: “specialist in humanities / international services” and “engineer” visa.
There are documents to be prepared from the company and those to be prepared by yourself, so please take the necessary preparations and apply for your working visa in time before you enter the company.
